GBG Women, formerly know as WOW (Women On the Web) is an active division of GBG Mumbai that aims to help every women – entrepreneurs, mommy bloggers, SMEs, professionals or even home makers to start using internet and web technologies to their professional advancement.

GBG Women isn’t a separate community, but it is a group of people within the GBG passionate about women in technology

Our motto is to “Use Technology for Business Success”, we achieve this by conducting free events, workshops, seminars, conferences and day long sessions where experts speakers simplify the learning process of using technology to get your business online, advertising on the web, social media marketing and more.

GBG Women – Mumbai has a woman leader – Jasmine Pereira, who dedicatedly works towards to increasing women’s participation in the community activities of Google Business Group – Mumbai.

The inaugural event is on 24th May, 3pm.

Join us this weekend over high tea for our inaugural event where three eminent speakers share their knowledge about using web technologies, social media and the power of networking for you to take full advantage of the internet and grow your business.

  • 3.10pm: Introduction and keynote address by Sreeraman, Chapter manager & Jasmine, GBG Women Lead
  • 3.45pm: Presentation by Payal Shah, Head – Content, The Word Jockey Creative Content Studio on using technology for business success
  • 4.30pm: Presentation by Varsha Sethia, Head – Strategy, media2win on social media strategy
  • 5.15pm: Special address by Paul Ravindranath, Program Manager, Business and Startup Ecosystem, Google India
  • 5.30pm: Talk by Sam Iyengar, Chief Networking Officer, The Indian Networker on the power of networking.
  • 6.00pm: Networking session over high tea and snacks (complimentary)

Venue: Harkisan Mehta Institute of Journalism, Mithibai Campus, Vile Parle.
